If you haven't seen this anime I highly recommend it.

It basically covers traditional Chinese folklore with a twist here and there. The art style is very visually appealing and the main character, Ginko, is very well written. The episodes are stand-alones, but there's an overriding theme and the last few tie the series together.


I would also like to give attention to this wonderful AMV, from my favorite AMVer Rider4Z, which got me to watch the series: [link]
For the most part I'd say it's spoiler free.

OMG! mushi-shi fan art! i'm officialy in love with ginko by the way. :lmao:

i saw it on animenewsnetwork.com top 10 list and so i checked it out. i was incredibly impressed!

i'd like to suggest another series if you liked this one. it's only 13 episodes long, but the artwork in it is incredible! the whole show is so...surreal. i've only found fan subs of it, but their are a lot of rely well done ones of it. it was never actually brought over to the u.s. :(

haha, i just realized i forgot to give you the name of the anime! :lmao: it's called mononoke. and no it's nothing involving princess mononoke. i was curious about that myself at first.

ohh yeah I've seen a few episodes of it, but I haven't finished watching it! The art style in that is amazing @_@

sweet, so you know what i'm talking about! lulz. :lmao:

the last few episodes are my favorite, but they drop the ending like a rock off a cliff...

it stays fitting with the series the way they do it, but it still is such a abrupt, "END" that it urks me. :(

i still suggest seeing the rest of it though. the whole thing is awesome.

I love this series. I like how he was so mysterious at first but you learned more about him later o3o....I really liked the kid you could draw things and it came to life =w=
